Haters Gonna Hate…

You're surrounded by legions of doubters, cynics, and haters.  Some will subconsciously be trying to hold you back and not even know it.  Others will consciously try to sabotage you over petty jealousies or other psychological disorders they possess.  If you don’t fight back, they win.

Please Be More Selfish

believe selfishness is your moral prerogative.  Not just your prerogative, but your sacred responsibility.  But if you’re like most people, the word itself makes you feel guilty.  Ayn Rand wrote a collection of essays in a book titled, The Virtue of Selfishness.  When asked why she chose to use a word that threatened so many people, she replied, “For the reason that makes you afraid of it.”  It’s been more than 50 years since then, but people still react the same way.

Give Yourself a Break!

It’s another fresh week with another fresh opportunity to move toward a higher version of yourself. Striving for more and challenging yourself is a good thing. Just don’t over-index on the self-criticism.
