Time Isn’t Money

Posted By: Randy GageMarch 28, 2025

You don’t achieve financial freedom until you have mastered time freedom.

When I was young, I was taught (as you probably were) that time is money.

The original thinker of this thought was Benjamin Franklin.  Or at least he’s usually credited for that quote. Ben certainly was one of the most accomplished and productive persons of his era.  But I’m still not sure his statement was true, even then.

Not certain if it’s because I’ve grown and learned the truth about financial literacy, or that technology and advances have changed the game.  But one thing I know for sure, is that this statement is not true today.

Only broke people believe time is money.

To create wealth, you must transcend the trading time for money trap.  You must unleash the power of leverage. And understand that...

Time creates money.

You know this is true because once someone creates large quantities of money, we use it to buy back more time.  And spend that time in more prosperous ways, which generates yet more money to create a flywheel effect of abundance.

Another interesting dynamic…

Like all things in the Universe, at its core essence, money is energy vibrations.  And energy can be attracted or repelled.  Which is why money is repelled by people who don’t value time.

Peace,
