The Plan

Call me simplistic, but I like simple.  Simple is elegant.  Simple works.  Like the last post, when I said the biggest step to most accomplishments is simply to decide to do them.

Some people think I’m being too simple-mined, but I don’t see it that way.  More like single-minded.  And because I like things simple, I like plans.

Simple plans.

Plans are what you make after you decide.  I have plans for at bats in my softball game, plans for my books before I write them, and plans for what I want to accomplish each day.

I even have a plan for enlightenment…

Seriously.  It’s the plan I follow to reach enlightenment.  And of course it’s simple, kind of patterned after the model James Allen demonstrated so profoundly with his work and adjusted for where I want to go.  Seven steps every Jedi Knight can follow to restore peace and prosperity to the universe.

So here’s my plan.  Feel free to adopt it as your own.

1)   Stay clean and sober

2)   Become the thinker of the thought

3)   Consciously choose to focus on positive thoughts

4)   Exercise mentally and physically daily

5)   Practice tolerance and love

6)   Seek out new challenges

7)   Choose meaning over money and the money will come.

  1. Now that´s simple & clear!
Each step can be a headline for a day per week, After our choice guess the N° 7 is the N°1 right after following your N°2.

  9. Love it. Pleased to report I’m on way and I’m grateful for your influence.
It’s 18 months since I had a glass of wine and even though I wasn’t an alcoholic things are definitely way better since I had the discipline to just say ‘enough,’  and be more conscious.

Coming from a family of heavy British drinkers I feel proud to have done that. Thanks Randy

  15. Nice plan Randy.. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you were a Boy Scout, LOL. (kidding).. Frankly I was bounced out of the Boy Scouts for being a trouble maker.. go figure.

Anyway, it’s all good and I love the elements too. And I’m also a major proponent of SIMPLE as in the old theory “K.I.S.S.” which I’m sure you know the meaning !

    BOOM!

Hellz Yeah, when you strive for something you need a plan, you don’t need anything to fail. Failure is the path of least resistance….

This sounds very simple and is the only logical way to reach the goals i have set for my life. But “simple” doesn’t always mean “easy”. That’s the reason why so many people don’t belief that it can be done. But for a Jedi, nothing is impossible.Thank you Randy 🙂 BOOM!!!
