You probably believe you’re broken. And you probably feel that, even if the rest of the world doesn’t have a clue. But you think you know the truth…
Because you know every jealous thought you ever had. Every mistake you ever made. And you know every imperfection in your face and body.
But here’s what you may not know…
Everyone has said and done things they regret. If you met most movie stars without their makeup, PhotoShop and lighting, you wouldn’t even recognize them. If we use your criteria, everyone is broken.
There’s no tragedy in the fact that you’ve made mistakes along the way, or done things you wish you didn’t. We all have. The real tragedy would be descending into self-loathing and staying there.
You're not broken. You’re simply in the Humanity 101 class, learning the curriculum.
So instead of thinking yourself “broken” and needing to be fixed, let’s view it in a much more empowering way. It isn’t really about fixing yourself, but evolving yourself. The joy is not in being perfect. The joy comes from aspiring to become the best possible version of yourself.
Ain’t it great!
