Harmonic Wealth

Long time readers know I am not crazy about “The Secret.” I’m glad that it has introduced the Law of Attraction to many people. But the film took a pretty simplistic view of how to apply it. There’s lots of people sitting home watching the video, wondering when their Lamborghini is going to drive itself into their driveway.

It will be a long wait.

Obviously we need to take action to manifest prosperity. One of the people who gets that is my friend James Arthur Ray (who was featured in the video.) And I’m excited that he has a new book out about exactly this process. James understands that we all must be co-creators of our prosperity and breaks in into five key areas: Financial, relationships, mental, physical, and spiritual.

The book is called “Harmonic Wealth.” I just ordered my copy and I’m looking forward to reading it. I suggest you get on Amazon.com or your local bookstore and get your own copy.

  1. Hi Randy Gage…..
I’ve learned that that Lamborghini is never going to come! Unless you take ACTION! I took action today to make things happen! I see a lot of people just sitting around waiting and hoping great things are going to happen….We must MAKE IT HAPPEN!
    Thank you very much!

  2. Randy,

You are correct…taking action is key….this is the age old recommedation for any success. The willingness to take action, take risks, step out of the box, create the life you desire…this is what creates the opportunity and in turn “draws” more open doors.

In adding to your views of intrusive government…that is way those who continue to think big government will be the answer to their problems will indeed remain poor or ham strung…it is freedom, the entrepreneurial spirit that will succeed despite obstacles…and in turn “live” the Laws of Attraction!

  3. Hi Randy

Taking action is an important part of the process to manifest desires. It is a Cosmic Law (Law of Movement). Once we are in harmony with Cosmic Laws, things start to come together :).

  4. I agree with your assessment about “The Secret”. I don’t dislike it, though. I think it did a GREAT job at what it was designed for: to raise the level of awareness of the general public that we create our own realities by the quality and direction of our thinking.

In that, it succeeded 100%. I don’t think it was ever marketed as a complete soup-to-nuts course on “How To Create Your Ideal Life”. It was just an appetizer.

There are some excellent home-study courses available, though, that do a great job of laying out the details of how to live “on purpose”. Some of Randy’s own resources are a good start.

  5. Hi Randy,

I just now finished reading “Dumb, Sick and Broke”…what a scream! I love the way you tell it!
The Secret raised the awareness of many sleepers, it’s was good for that. I went on to research each person who was interviewed and that was an interesing journey.
Our pastor tells us to “get off our blessed assurance””… also. Yep, no free ride baby…

  6. Agreed. I fear many people are sitting, waiting and then giving up all hope.

  7. What was even worse about ‘The Secret’ was the admonition to just see yourself as ‘thin’ and wait for it to happen. Esther and Jerry Hickss wrote the book about The Law of Attraction long before ‘The Secret’ came out. They were consulted before she made her book and video, but never given credit. But true to their own spiritual beleifes, they never criticized her (the author of The Secret) and they continue to be a source of inspiration

  8. Hi Randy,

I have exactly the same issue with the limited approach to manifesting as presented in The Secret: Ask, Believe and Receive … and sit back while your order is filled.

To paraphrase Dr. Phil: So, how’s that working out for you lately?

My extension to the ‘mental wealth’ models supporting the Law of Attraction, intentionality, etc. is to take an entrepreneur’s perspective on ‘what happens next.’ It’s all described in my book, The Wealth Manifesto: Transforming Your Life from Survive to Thrive.

I’d be happy to send you a copy if you are interested.

  9. Randy, you are spot on. As someone who spent one third of his life working in corporate banking and being told that working long & hard was the only way to get the better things in life, I now know better.

Devoting my life to the Boss made me a lot of money but also rewarded me with divorce, almost going bankrupt and a whole lot of blaming and misery.

Two years ago I stared my own MLM business and was introduced/exposed to the most amazing people, people like Rob & Nicki Horkings, yourself and heaps of others. I was also introduced to the power of positive thinking and the law of attraction. My life has been turned around.

Yes you still have to work hard and be passionate about what you want, but you must do it so that balance is achieved. The law of attraction is real and when understood will change lives – it did for me.

Break free, start being your own boss, learn to use the forces around you, find balance, find passion & desire, work hard and you can have it all.

  11. I love your comment, it will help me very much, I just started my own cosmetics business “ZUMMALI INC”, the website is not ready yet, but I am so excited and passionate about it, I know what I want and how I want it, people can see my excitement and are already asking me how to order. ( I went to Cancun on vacation, and met a Dr. that she wants to sell my products in her clinic, she is a General and Cosmetologic Dr.)………..This is wild…..
I can feel the success coming my way and my partners as well.
I will not quit my job, but I can feel that I will have to very soon. My business needs me, and I ma not afraid of working very hard……I AM IN LOVE……WITH ZUMMALI…….

    Randy,

    I agree completely.

I’ve always been a little skeptical of the new-agey books my wife reads about self-help or changing your life. But she was so impressed by Harmonic Wealth by James Ray that i agreed to read it. And I can honestly say that it rocked!

What I like about James Ray was that he didn’t just sell you all these fluffy ideas and leave it at that. He breaks it down into applicable lesslons and examples and even provided and online study course that helped me to apply the book to my life and come up with ways I can be more “Harmonically Wealthy.” I like that approach because it makes sense to me and is about results, not hand-holding.

I’ve been listening to T. Harv Eker’s book ‘Secrets of the Millionaire Mind’ on CD and he shares a similar view on this. To paraphrase, the link between what is in the mind and what happens in the outer world is action. Meditiation, intention, etc. is all well and good, but if that’s all you do, the car, money, etc. just ain’t gonna happen.
    Thoughts==> feelings==> actions ==> results

  18. Randy,
I think Joe Vitale said it best- “inspired action” is what’s needed after you get clear on what you want to experience in your life. Action for action sake can be futile. I also love when Rhonda Brynes tells you to say “I can afford that” when you look at something you want, such as a Viper or Mercedes. The feel-good feelings are critical to success. I’m reading Harmonic Wealth myself and love it:)

  20. Sitting still and wishing makes no man great. The LOA will send the fishes but you must provide the bait. Action is required to achieve almost anything in this world except atrophy. Dreams, wishes, goals, hopes, prayers and wants can only be activated by action. This is the real ‘secret’ The video and book ‘The secret’were all based on knowledge found in other books ‘Think and grow rich’ and ‘The law of attraction in the thought world’ both written almost a hundred years ago. Action follows thoughts. put the right thoughts into action and prosperity and success are provided by the law of abundance. It really is that simple folks

Have you gone to his Harmonic Wealth Weekend, or bought the home study course?

  22. A little late to the party but wanted to thank you for this! Action has been the only way I’ve ever gotten anything done, and has helped me move mountains.

Many people don’t get the importance of speed, either. I tend to go from idea to full on implementation at light speed, and it’s always helped me stay ahead of the pack.

I gave you a shout out at my blog, Randy – and again, thanks!

  23. Defining five areas to work on in order to move closer to a wealth mindset seems manageable. There are so many books nowadays. It feels like everyone writes. So it’s sometimes hard to find one that goes beyond dreaming and offers practical ideas for co-creating better life circumstances. Thanks for the book recommendation.
