The Role of Vision

You can have a powerful vision.  You can put that vision on your Prosperity Manifestation Map.  You can speak it in 13 affirmations every morning.  And you can still not achieve it.

Why?  Because vision is just part of the process.  In fact, vision is just one of three components of the success or failure process.

Now some people will tell you that they don’t have a vision.  But that’s not true.  Everyone has a vision.  You have a positive vision, a neutral vision, or a negative one.  But you definitely have one.

Now if you know anything about prosperity, you realize that your current reality is the result of the vision you have.  It’s that way, and it works that way all the time, with no exceptions.  I believe that the type of vision you have determines what kind of cycle you are on.  They are:

Success Cycle (positive vision)

Mediocrity Cycle (neutral vision)

Failure Cycle (negative vision)

Now of course the million-dollar question is – what determines what kind of vision you have?  The answer is the second component of the equation…

Your beliefs.

And that’s where we will pick up on the next post.  Any thoughts before then?

  3. Yes I have  a thought. You need a plan, which is why I wrote 7Stones, which will be published soon. Your level of belief will dictate the ferocity with which you attack your plan. See more on http://joehefferon.blogspot.com/

  5. I have been saying exactly this to someone very close to me so it’s not at all surprising you posted this Randy. We’re obviously very in sync which is great! What I love in particular about BELIEVING in a vision is when others who are completely with you say inspiring things that are even beyond where you thought things would be, which of course, raises your own belief yet more.. Intention is very powerful when used in conjunction with belief and vision 😉

I’m really looking forward to your next post. The cycles we are in are hard to break, though with the right influence we can. (Like You) I think it’s we are addicted to a pain or pleasure…

  15. I have a more positive, yet realist outlook.I have a question to pose to people:Is it wrong, if you obtain success to leave behind friends and family who are mean-spirited, cruel, sabotaging, and don’t lift a finger to help you, but expect YOU to take care of them, and always eager to tell you why you can’t and how bad something is.I mean literally, as in talk and interact with them as little as possible. Possibly never see them in person again. I don’t want to share anything with these people. Am I in the wrong for wanting to leave this lot in the dust? I honestly do not want to share with my backstabbing parents and some of my relatives, and there are long-time friendships i am considering ending.Because, I will succeed, and I am not sharing with people who had the means, but didn’t want to put in the time or effort to show me compassion and understanding.
They are not worthy of my time and energy. When they want something, they can fend for themselves the way they expect me to, because I am not forgetting and I am not forgiving people who go out of their way to hurt others. I’ll help people who can’t help themselves, and my brother and wife and my friends and mentors who do care. “If you’re absent during my struggle, don’t expect to be present during my success.” -Will Smith

    1.  @ThomasMrak  Consider forgiving those relatives and friends who have been naysayers.  Then surround yourself with like-minded individuals who will support you in your vision of a better life for you and your loved ones.
You sound like you are on the right path for yourself, Thomas!

  18. Totally agree – every one of us has a vision that determines where we go next.. but a question – how do you deal with a vision that one day feels positive, upbeat, outrageous, huge…and the next day feels weak, small and negative?

I used to believe that having vision was enough. I’ve since learned that vision without action is just a daydream. I totally agree with you  on the importance of determining what kind of cycle we’re on. I’ve never heard it put this way, but it totally makes sense. We can’t be on the Mediocrity cycle or Failure cycle and think that our vision will take shape, simply because we have a vision. What I believe people lack when in those two cycles more than anything else is consistent action towards making visions their reality. Those that operate in the Success cycle know that without action being taken the vision will remain as such. This is awesome, Randy! I’m looking forward to reading the next post on the role of vision. Good stuff!!

  32. Wow never thought about it like that Randy. That is definitely true I guess it would depend on what state you are in that would determine your vision. You really have to be conscious of that fact and keep yourself in the success cycle no matter what is going on the outside.

This is one of my favorite quotes.

“A man who is master of himself can end a sorrow as easily as he can invent a pleasure. I don’t want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them.”
    ~ Oscar Wilde

Emotions are very important in our life. They can make us losers or winners.
