We so love being right.  Not sure if it comes from low self-esteem, a hunger for acceptance, or something else, but people will twist their brain into a pretzel in a desperate attempt to be right. They do this even when all evidence points to the contrary, and even when being right is actually harmful to themselves.  Right now, we have people hoping the banking system will collapse, a deeper worldwide recession will develop, or another pandemic occurs, just so they can say, “I told you so.”

We live in a time of constantly fluctuating economies, erratic stock markets, and government deficits.  We’ll never be at a loss of tsunamis, tornadoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, and erupting volcanoes.  There will always be jealous friends who begrudge your success, petty people who may subconsciously want to sabotage you, even evil souls who wish to harm you.
