Habits for Success

People like to talk about creating their destiny, because that’s such a noble endeavor.  But how exactly do you do that?

It doesn’t sound as lofty, but here’s the truth…

You don’t create your future.  You create your daily habits, and they create your future.

One of the most powerful success techniques you can do is replacing a bad habit with a good one.  Replace a late night snack with a walk around the neighborhood.  Replace fast food breakfast with fresh fruit.  Replace texting at dinner with actually looking at your spouse.

Want to change your future?  Change your habits.

yes, and when speaking to the spouse, say something complimentary, loving, kind.  We get more of what we emphasize, don’t we?

      1.  @MrsHealthandProsperity I am not “there” yet again and it´ll take a while but it´s the most fundamental of a partnership, as a woman, to not just be looked at like at a statue. Even if it´s a very nice one 😉

What??? don’t quite understand the statue-reference.  What’s that got to do with …. whatever?  Is it about compliments & complimenting?
I don’t want to be looked at JUST as a physical being, but it raises my vibe when someone, anyone, gives me a compliment that references my appearance.  I like it when they compliment me on any of my characteristics, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual….
It also raises my vibe when I give compliments, praise, or appreciation – isn’t it curious that we speak of “paying” compliments?  Do we pay with compliments for that-which we’ve already received, or that which we shall receive?  I dunno.  I like paying & receiving compliments.
You are so good at providing food-for-thought!  You are kinda’ like Randy that way ;>)

There is no spouse (yet). so, there are no or not many compliments by men in life. so far, well, rarely. why? I am a logic woman by nature with strong analyzing abilites and men in our country kind-a hate that combination. I am a nerd but I don´t look like “one”. Crazy combination of appearance. Well.
but people look at me. some. and sometimes. so, there is the statue feeling from. I think i never really received compliments from men in my life. but from a few women, politely. so this is probably not the ideal topic to attend at for me. 🙂
never heard of “paying compliments”, but I know from our country what it means to pay an entrance fee to get into circles of certain people. so we always pay in life! don´t we? I will change my job and see if men on other stages have compliments to give. those from the automotive biz are like emotionless machines.
BTW, I studied the universal laws of rareness and coincidence. without having an idea that someone else on earth studied other universal laws. well, Randy became wealthy and famous while I just survived. people meet! and now we mmet as well!
food for thought! I got lots. yes. take ´em! 🙂 and enjoy life! CU soon on this stage-

  7. Agree!  I think a lot of people lie to themselves about the habits they have, so getting honest with yourself in where you are at and working on changing habits one at a time can really change anyone’s life!  Great Post! -Jeremy jonesima

  14. I completely agree!!! Awesome post!! We always educate our young entrepreneurs to make a list of their bad habits & what good habit can replace those. “Do anything for 21 days, becomes a habit. Do anything for 30 days, becomes an addiction”
