The 7 Elements of an Abundant Life

Posted By: Randy GageJuly 26, 2025

Everyone – you included – is born to be healthy, happy, and rich. I really do believe that, and that’s why you find that premise woven into all my work.  In January I’m starting a new cohort in my Breakthrough U program.  So, for the last few months I’ve been working on quantifying how a truly prosperous life plays out I dove deep into the process that fueled my own remarkable journey from a jail cell as a teen to inspirational entrepreneur.

As you know, an abundant life can never be about only money and materials things—yet money and material things are an essential part of the equation.  To get the true picture you need first principles, breakthrough concepts, hard truths, and spiritual awakenings.

Becoming wealthy isn’t really about earning more money, as most people think. I would posit that going from broke to rich is more about creating a profound transformation—rewiring how you think, exploring your emotions around money, and then eviscerating any negative or limiting beliefs holding you back.

That’s step one, so you can stop chasing money and start manifesting holistic prosperity in every area of your life. I believe a truly abundant life is defined by seven elements:

  • Do work that lights you up.
  • Collaborate only with people who share your unbridled passion for the work.
  • Operate at peak-level energy and wellness.
  • Enjoy healthy, positive, and elevating relationships.
  • Get the money thing out of the way.
  • Seek each day to move toward the highest possible version of yourself.
  • Make the transition from success to significance.

In the next post we’ll discuss why I think all seven elements are required and some of the most frequent questions and concerns. Until then, would love it if you would share your thoughts below.

Peace,

- RG

  1. I love your comment about collaborating only with people who vibe with you about the work. An abundant life includes purpose and legacy, which comes from passionately pursuing good work!

  2. Randy.. been following your work for over 13 yrs now, your writing is absolutely as tight and potent as it's ever been. Hope to see you again face to face at some point. Email me please if you are having any small get-togethers in Miami anytime soon.

  3. Yes! I am.coming to realize the journey towards wealth ( and health) is rewiring your thoughts feelings and beliefs ! Rather than accumulating stuff

  4. Love that line about do work that lights you up.. there's an ex-lawyer Rachel who writes on Medium, who runs the volunteer program at a pet shelter in Clearwater now, love her posts, and she says Gen Z are so poorly prepared to function in the world today, terrified to answer the phone.. quoted you about when I asked you what you love most about our profession that self-development is baked into any company you join.. said you don't become a top earner or leader in network marketing without doing a ton of work on yourself.. what I love about it too.. cheers Napa David

  5. Hi. The “rewiring how you think” theme is absolutely critical. If you can express that both conceptually and in action steps, it will be game changing and a home run. I think it boils down to a combination of the very practical, such as completely eliminating all digital pollution including anything and everything coming off of TV screens, and the sublime, such as determining, fully understanding and focusing on one’s destiny and purpose. You’re on an important mission. The “rewiring” process has been the missing link. Unless a person knows how to do that, their other efforts are basically futile. Best regards.

  6. You said it all. I am inspired the more as you mentioned these 7 key points that revolves round me every day. I am becoming a better person and attracting many more and wanting to join me in the journey of good health, good relations and aspiring to be more.
