Most people want to achieve more, tackle an audacious goal, and become successful. What does that success process look like? There are a few important but little-known parts of the equation. They’re tripwires to success, since people trigger them because they’re unprepared for them.
Let being broke, being ridiculed, or being bullied be the fuel that drives you. The first step to helping the poor, downtrodden or exploited is to not be one of them. Decide that you won’t allow anyone to make you a victim, that you will become a victor.
You can only be happy if you are sharing your gifts, whatever they may be, with the world around you. But when you’re seeking validation or approval from others, you edit, restrict, or hide you true gifts. And that is a tragedy.
But if you demonstrate that you really want and can handle the truth – and really do attract some people into this “sacred circle” of those around you – it will be one of the most rewarding experiences in your life.
A big part of self-esteem is how you view yourself. You have accomplished a lot, against some very strong odds. You have done things many humans have never been able to achieve. Some of those things are amazing.
For your kids to grow up prosperous and not entitled, they have to feel a sense of self worth. They have to love themselves. And to do that, they first have to like themselves.
