People seek prosperity constantly. But this is a futile course of action, because searching for prosperity is the equivalent of a fish swimming in the ocean looking for water.
The materialistic society we live in weighs the equation heavily towards gaining wealth as the primary commandment. Yet most of us know that love, health, and relationships are more important to lasting happiness.
And can we please lose the 'poverty is virtuous' bullshit? Poverty causes people to lie, cheat, steal and even kill. There is nothing spiritual about it.
This doesn’t mean you suppress negative thoughts or desolate emotions. They’re part of the game too. You can notice and acknowledge them. Recognize the cause and the lesson these feelings and thoughts hold for you. Then release them, and replace them with a more constructive and inspiring ones.
