Setting Goals that Actually Work

You already know some dreams are bigger than others, some dreams are easier to obtain, and some are merely whimsical.  So what’s the most important criteria about the dreams you have for the future?

How You See Your Future

Last post we looked at the importance of having a challenge worthy of you.  Whether you have one or not is probably determined in great part by your vision of the future.  If you have an optimistic vision, you picture good things happening and want to prepare for them.  You probably think of your future in productive ways like proper planning, a savings account, and creating a retirement plan.

Fresh Start Monday

How has 2019 been for you so far?  Can you believe that we’re already at July 23rd, well over the halfway mark?  You might be making solid progress towards your goals, or maybe you’re lagging.  Maybe that new project isn’t moving as quickly as you thought it would?  Maybe your diet or exercise program haven’t achieved the results you were hoping for.  You could be having some doubts about your progress and potential.  So why not make today a reset?

Upgrading Your Mindset

Last post we were discussing optimism versus pessimism.  Did you know there are some genetic factors that influence your optimism?  About 50% of your personality traits are determined by your genes and family origin.   So you may have been born optimistic.  Or pessimistic.
