Don’t work to build more followers and fans. Work to perfect your craft.
Do work that you’re immensely proud of. The work will attract the tribe. The right tribe, for you and them.
The only things that achieve universal acclaim are pap and mediocrity. If you’re not pissing some people off – you’re probably not doing relevant work. Everyone is not supposed to be in your tribe.
Don’t pander. Be dangerous. Don’t water the work down to attract more. Make the work challenging to attract better.

The TRIBE you attract and allow to go into (mess) your life is a perfect reflection of who you have become. If you don’t like who you are seeing and they are still around, there’s a big chance that you’re not doing something great! Ain’t that right, Mr. R.G.? 🙂

Another good blog post. It’s really ok when people “unsubscribe” you. It is not serving to worry about losing Fans. You will attract the people that are looking for what you have to offer them in the long run.
