MAKE. MORE. MONEY.

Posted By: Randy GageFebruary 3, 2026

Let me repeat this for the people in the back: Make more money!  Not as a slogan.  As your sacred responsibility to the force that created you.

“A penny saved is a penny earned.”

True.

Yet a penny earned is still just a penny—which is why we stopped making them. They aren’t even worth the copper needed to produce them. Yet millions of people are still running their financial lives by depression-era logic applied amid an abundance economy.

Money itself isn’t scarce; it’s infinite. The more value you provide and the bigger the problems you solve, the more money you can earn. That’s not a social media hot take—it’s how the real-world works.

Money isn’t scarce. Opportunity isn’t scarce. Problems aren’t scarce. The only shortage is people willing to become more valuable.

So don't over-index on clipping coupons, price haggling, and scrimping your way through life. Life is too short to spend it flying in economy, choosing the dumpster view, or ordering from the right side of the menu and calling it “being smart.”

That’s not being smart, that’s being cheap.  (And please stop boasting that you’re cheap as if it’s a badge of honor. Living cheap is a badge of poverty consciousness.)

To be clear, if you’re a young buck, launching a new business—you might fly in economy, eat cheese sandwiches, and stay in discount hotels.  I did.  But making prudent economic decisions in the short term doesn’t require you to live an entire lifetime governed by scarcity consciousness.

The goal isn’t to become the richest person in the graveyard. The goal is to live a prosperous life while you’re still above the ground.

If your primary financial strategy is cost-cutting, you’re not building prosperity—you’re managing scarcity.  Yet whole industries exist to teach people how to save an extra $3 a day while ignoring the much bigger question:

How do I become more valuable?

Instead of reading more books telling you to bring coffee from home instead of buying a $6 Starbucks every now and then, why not focus on learning how to create more value, solve higher-level problems, and scale your impact?

Prosperity isn’t created with Excel budgeting spreadsheets. It’s created through ideas.

We transform prosperity from the ethers into the physical realm through the medium of ideas. No one ever has a money shortage. What they suffer from is an idea shortage.

Money is feedback that flows toward contribution. When you focus on becoming more useful, more capable, and more strategic, income becomes a byproduct—not a struggle.

Too many people obsess over budgeting, slashing expenses, and “being careful,” when the far superior approach is increasing their earning capacity. Looking for ways to scale what you take in will always beat analyzing how to spend less.

And despite what frugality gurus preach, it’s far easier to get rich by earning more money than by saving more money.

Saving has a ceiling. Value creation does not.

Peace,

- RG

P.S. I'm already working on the next post.  We'll have a little fun, as I want to are share some "extravagant necessities."
