(Monday Mojo 4/24/23)
Thank God it’s Monday! Let’s get after it…
Last week we discussed the role your beliefs play in your success. Let's explore some more thoughts on that. Lots of people hold seemingly harmless limiting beliefs, that they affirm often. Examples:
“I can’t carry a tune in a bucket”
“My body wasn’t designed for dancing”
“All the good guys are gay or married”
“If it wasn’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all,” etc.
Every time you repeat a statement like that, you’re programming it into your subconscious mind. If you want to end bad cycles, amend those kinds of statements to the past tense. Example: “In the past, I’ve struggled to ______, but now I’m committed to changing that.”
If you want to do a deeper dive into this, here’s a video where I break down the seven most frequent limiting beliefs about prosperity – and the empowering beliefs you can replace them with. Watch it here.
Peace,
- RG
