I imagine the "Wake up only after you finish sleeping." gets ignored. To be honest, I tried to shoehorn 7 or 8 hours of sleep into 5 or 6 for a (very) long time. Then I had an epiphany - which was so obvious it's embarrassing. The key wasn't getting up early. For me, it was going to bed earlier. I haven't use an alarm clock since except when traveling (I usually still beat it unless I have a flight that is crazy early). And I'm well rested. I won't say how many years it took to make this discovery.
Thanks for posts, Randy!

Hello
It's a good list. I started the cardio about a year ago and the "healthy stuff" for mind and body is a work in progress but both have definately been superbly beneficial. I can't speak to the Hokey Pokey as I haven't tried that yet.......
Cheers.
I have been checking out your stuff for years. And I dig it.
Random act of kindness is great but only occasionally it would seem for me.
Fresh air and natural light is a daily for me.
Wake up when I finish sleeping on the other hand is VERY RARE for me.
Appreciating beauty sunrise and sunset are my favorite and pretty frequent for me I like to say it is a free painting that GOD paints for us all to appreciate.
Body healthy stuff V8 spicy hot is where I reside.
Mind healthy stuff I try my best not to give too much attention to the news.
No device at mealtime for my family.
Cardio with my daily activities.
Kind words when I get an opportunity.
Something that scares me is driving on the freeway every day.
And the Hokey Pokey is what it’s all about.
Great list. The sleep one is probably at the route of so many negative thought, so I think Chad’s right about going to bed early!
And although we call it the Hokey Cokey in England, it’s still what it’s all about! 🙂
Beauty is what I'd like to see more around. It's a kind of nourishment for the mind, an act of kindness.
...and laugh daily
