The Command Center - Who Is Running Your Life?

Posted By: Randy GageJuly 29, 2019

Last post we looked at how asking the right question can move your focus from the external to the internal.  Here’s why this is so critical.  We all have a “command center” (subconscious mind) that governs our behavior.  Think of it like the bridge and ship’s computer on the Starship Enterprise.  Either you control the command center, or it controls you.

Perhaps the most insightful observation Freud ever made was that until you make the unconscious, conscious, you’ll call it fate.  (Or luck, circumstance or random happenstance.)  If you have many of the subconscious memes that most people do – money is evil, rich people are corrupt, you’re born a sorry sinner requiring penance, etc. – your command center runs your life and causes you to self-sabotage your success. When you bring those subconscious mind viruses and limiting beliefs into the light, they lose their power over you and then you run the command center.

Do some serious thought on this.  Are you running your command center, or is it running you?

  1. According to the Bible, Adam and Eve were soulless human bodies, who couldn’t make judgements, couldn’t think, couldn’t decide what is wrong and right, don’t knew what to do for what result, until they ate the apple of knowledge.

Now the story would be great and informative if they weren’t told that this was a BAD THING!

As a result, humans try to be just as ignorant and stupid as they can, what we can clearly observe.

So the humanity's sin is the knowledge. It is hard to imagine bigger damage than that. It is amazing how Ayn Rand realized these stuff.

These "teaching" and the single sentence: "loving money is the root of all evil", are killed more people than all of the wars and epidemics altogether. This is the single biggest mass destruction weapon, which ever made. An a-bomb causing damage just at that particular area. But this? This spreading like a virus and constantly killing everybody it can.

Everybody who died in anything related to the poverty, such as wars, diseases, accidents by frustration, accidents by low quality stuff, crimes by frustration, crimes what the government did, who fed by the poor, are died because of this sentence. And they were driven by their subconscious. The Enterprise met the asteroid.

  2. Hi Randy, It wasn't Freud who made that observation it was the great CARL JUNG whom I took as a mentor? along with OSHO and AYN Rand and have made it my lifes work to try and make my unconscious conscious with some success, although I cannot say it was mine wholly as I went through spontaneous spritiual enlightenment, the souce of which was 'non local' and I am still integrating what I was shown, this was some years ago now. What you call your command centre is the paradigm that unconsciously runs your life, BUT it is something we each have personally created - I was shown my own processing so know this is true, but I was also shown more than this as I was shown the nature of collective consensual reality which we are all trapped in, and our personal processing ( personal trance ) stems from this collective trance. This is really something to be experienced to know the truth of what I am saying and it is not easy as once we have faced our own personal trance which is hard enough, we have the collective trance to face which can seem very dangerous as we come face to face with the collective monsters of our psyche. This last I would call 'soul' work and not for the faint hearted. To even gain some knowledge we have to drop the idea of being in control or being in command or even wanting either as both come from the needs of our small self rather than our higher self. ( by high I do not mean this in a hierarchal way, the better way to describe it is our higher knowing self which is soul centred and not ego centred. This work is humbling but in a good way as it opens the door to real knowledge - there is no 'less than' or 'more than' any more as we have seen through our ego needs which keeps us chained to it's demands.

    1. Freud wrote, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

"The subconscious is where our experiences, beliefs and memories are stored. Self-knowledge, the understanding of our thoughts and behaviors and their influence on our lives, will make the unconscious conscious. This raise in consciousness and change in thoughts and behavior prevents our false beliefs, negative emotions and self-defeating behaviors from directing our fate. Our fate is now determined by our knowing ourselves enough to take effective action in our daily lives."

So he was definitely in on this is a big way. Jung really pioneered the discussion on the collective unconscious in my view. And I think you see this played out today in the datashere with social media, worldwide media and memes accelerating and intensifying the process. And I agree with you on how difficult and humbling it can be to face our psyche, but that's where the real breakthroughs live.
