I have used these types of CD's before and highly recommend them as well. I additionally still to this moment, write down my highest aspirations every night, in the same notebook (new page), repetitiously before I go to bed. These things that mean a lot to me are drilled into my sub-conscience and many have been met in the oddest of ways as I have - without much thought - gravitated to areas that met my need. The areas included the right people, investment, and opportunities. I am driven by my aspirations at every moment of the day because of this. Good luck!

I truly believe that we were put on this earth to develop relationships. These are crucial for so many different reasons! It is so much easier to develop these when it is easy for you to "love people." To be able to love people, you must first love yourself!!
I like me and I hope you like yourself too!
I always listen to cd's in my car when I am traveling long distances. So much better that the news and the so called sounds that they call music these days.
Keeping your mind active has been known to let people live longer , and actually ward off a lot of the Alziemers problems. I love the subliminal c.d. selections and have recently added a program to my P.C. called "MindPower Motivation". You can program any message you want into it, and anytime you use your computer or laptop, it runs in the background and sends you the subliminal message that you typed in. You don't even know it's sending you the message unless you want to see it longer and you set the speed down. I don't know if it will do anything or not on the subconsious(?)part, but like they say" Like chicken soup, cain't hurt!"
Long time ago I didn´t like myself but when I was 20 I started reading Dr.Norman Vincent Peal´s books and worked on myself, right now I can say I am loving my new me and every day I read self development books and listen to audios to keep advancing in my journey.
I highly recommend Michael Brown book The Presence Process A Healing journey into Present Moment Awareness.
It has 10 weeks working program (24/7). Enjoy.
Now I am reading Atlas Shrugged, thanks to you. Nice stuff though.
It works well as a self development book also.
As a reader from Denmark I would like to add my comments to this blog.
In its core, issues about liking yourself and self esteem have its roots in energetic energy steeling and abuse. Crimson Circle provides workshops all over the world, see http://www.crimsoncircle.com. Here we can free ourselves from the physical, psychological, psychic and sexual abuse and energy steeling. In this workshop information is provided about how you can release deeply imbedded energetic wounds and begin enjoying life in a new way. The process of energy stealing is compared to the workings of a virus, and is something that affects all of us. The key to healing this virus lies in the balancing of our masculine and feminine energies and the love of self. Imbalances between these archetypical energies are what cause the problems not only in personal lives, but also in families, companies, schools, religious organizations and governments.
I attended the workshop in Switzerland three years ago and it was life changing.
I am so glad I joined this blog. Been getting Randy's Rants for a while now - I read every word! I also recommend "The Presence Process". I've worked the book twice now. I've read Ayn Rand and now have a desire to read them again. I agree it is important to feed the spirit and promote one's growth daily. Do we ever arrive? Not as long as there are outside influence, not to mention the inner stream of thoughts. I own a bookstore - I read alot. Sometimes I have to close the book I'm reading and start over so I can read without prejudice (my thoughts are - "I already know this!" My latest reads are "The Law of Thinking" by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan (loved this), "The Answer" by John Asaraf. Thanks for letting me share.
This comment applies a bit to the last post on self esteem and this one. For me, it wasn't therapy that did it, but first the realization that I wasn't going anywhere (I guess I was lucky to have this insight. A couple of close calls with potential death probably did it) and then the Landmark Forum. From then on, I also discovered personal development. I have to admit that I wasn't as religious about it as Randy says, but I am a lot more now and the results are amazing. After Landmark, I felt like I was a child again, with none of the silly questions I had about myself and daily self development is keeping this alive. I also sleep with my Ipod on, with whatever motivational stuff I feel like at the time, depending on what I feel I want to work on!
i am definitely becoming a different person, and I like this person a lot!
oh yes, and at the moment, I am listening to Catherine Ponder's Dynamic Laws of Prosperity. It's simply amazing!
Hi Randy,
Got to take issue with you on this one. I'm training to be a mental health professional. My focus is the promotion of good mental health practice and warning the public about pseudoscience and snake oil. Subliminal recordings fall into this latter category, it is pure BS. Here's a link to an excellent article on the topic, there are plenty of references to follow up if you want to do more research.

As for developing good mental health a book that I recommend to clients is A Guide to Rational Living by Albert Ellis and Robert Harper.
All the best
Karl

Hi Randy,
I don't mean to reply to an older topic but I know you are big on Steven Halpern's inner peace CD's. I've always heard you mention you bought 6-7 CD's. Which ones are the ones that you purchased?
