Where Are You Comfortable?

Posted By: Randy GageApril 29, 2009

On yesterday’s post we looked at what may be holding you back from attempting more in life.  What we’re really talking about is your comfort zone.  How successful you can become, and still be comfortable with yourself.

Does that sound weird?  It should.  Because you should naturally be much more comfortable rich, healthy, and happy, than you would be poor, sick and depressed.  But actually very few people are…

Some people want to be ill because it gets them attention.  Some people feel guilty if they are too successful, or make too much money.  Some people are not happy unless they are unhappy.  So where do you feel the most comfortable?  Give that some critical thought today.

  1. I am comfortable eating fresh ripe raw organic food, training, facilitating mens warrior weekends and presenting from my heart.

Randy thanks for doing what you do - a friend gave me some of your old cd's a while ago think you were summarising catherine ponders dynamic laws of prosperity. anyway something that really stuck is unless you are a litle crazy, out of the box you are missing out on most of your prosperity. Resonated and has made a huge difference to me so thankyou

  2. Yo Randy!

I was uncomfortable growing my business because I was worried it would restrict my freedom.

Then I realized that not being able to afford a car, rent, medical care, or food was MUCH more uncomfortable than working harder.

Now I'm making a heck of a lot more money AND I have way more freedom than I did when I was broke.

    Sweet deal!

  3. I used to be very comfortable with my life. Now it's the most annoying place i can be. I want more, i want to achieve my dreams. The place i am now is what drives me to succeed.

  4. Must likely our comfort zone, has nothing to do with comfort! I think is a simply zone of habits; having "habit" as an activity done several times that now becomes easy... but it doesn't mean it is a good habit. Learning and switching new habits from successful people like you, tends to pull us out of our "comfort" zone, and have a new vision towards prosperity. Thanks Randy.

  5. Coming out of your comfort zone changes many things in your life, including your present friends. People don't always enjoy someone elses success - coming out of that comfort knowing that your life changes friends, style and attitude can be over whelming. Most people want success but are scared of what it brings to them or for them.

Can you handle your own success ? I can.

  6. This is yet ANOTHER great one! Ahh.. the comfort zone and how much we love it. I believe there's a saying that goes, "Life begins at the EDGE of your comfort zone". I've been struggling with this one for ages, but the real Truth is that my intention is to be EXTREMELY comfortable as a happy, healthy and rich person. End of story.

And I'm working to that end right now. Not there yet, but Rome wasn't built in a day! Thanks Randy.

  7. Luke good point - like the way you put it - lot of truth there.
It's the way we can make more money that's important to me. We can all work 24/7 to make the money but that's not what I want. Yet I know money will give me the freedom to do what I want to do. Will it require more commitment from me? Will it require more time (and really p*ss off my spouse)? Feeling stretched as it is at the moment.

  8. I am comfortable when everybody is saying good things about me, when I get to do the things I am exited about because I feel that people are exited too...

  9. What the masses think they get, they get. It's just that it's not their own thinking.

The electromagnetic spectrum is currently estimated to be only 0.005 per cent of what is said to exist in the universe, and human sight can see only a fraction even of that 0.005 per cent. Humans are basically blind and perceive a tiny fraction of multi-dimensional infinite reality. Add to that the dumbing down of our senses and how people who say they can "see beyond" are ridiculed and told to have fantasies etc. Imagine how much you don't see. You miss the picture all the time. Big time.

If people have a hard time looking at what they think is themselves in the mirror, how much harder it will be for them to dig into their mind control and programming, not to mention going beyond that.

Everything first happens on a spiritual level. If you are not in control there, you are out of control here and controlled by someone else.

So, will you take the blue or red pill?

  10. yes.. you are right... to be unhappy in orde rto be good .. is something we carry out, since Jesuscrist..superstar... la lalala lalala lala... we have that inside us.. you have to suffer inorder to reach heaven... so that paradigm is difficult to broke... but you are contributed.. yor are having a comunication in dayli bases a in order that all the people begin to enter in a new point of view!! The good notice is that WE CAN BE HAPPY

  11. Indeed what does make us happy? It seems if you are well-off, you want more, if you are rich, you want more ... when is enough enough ? I am familiar with those that crave attention from illness - it is a real psychological disorder called Munchausen Syndrome or they want attention so they injure or make their child sick for the sympathy and attention they derive from it that is called Muchausen by Proxy. It is a sad state of affairs when people can't find something to make them happy and content. When it is all said and done -- I am happy.

  12. I am completely ignorant about this electromagnet stuff that Per L is talking about. Are you able to point me in the right direction to find out more or Per L, can you please enlighten me? Thanks very much.

  13. Hi, Just quickly googled http://www.glenbrook.k12.il.us/GBSSCI/PHYS/CLASS/light/u12l2a.html

"Though electromagnetic waves exist in a vast range of wavelengths, our eyes are sensitive to only a very narrow band. Since this narrow band of wavelengths is the means by which humans see, we refer to it as the visible light spectrum. Normally when we use the term "light," we are referring to a type of electromagnetic wave which stimulates the retina of our eyes. In this sense, we are referring to visible light, a small spectrum from the enormous range of frequencies of electromagnetic radiation. This visible light region consists of a spectrum of wavelengths which range from approximately 700 nanometers (abbreviated nm) to approximately 400 nm. Expressed in more familiar units, the range of wavelengths extends from 7 x 10-7 meter to 4 x 10-7 meter."
