Mental Aerobics...

Posted By: Randy GageMarch 12, 2010

In yesterday’s post we discussed the prosperity power of ideas and creative thinking.  Great comments going, so check them out if you haven’t.  And while we’re on the subject of exercising your brain, this looks like a good time to give you some mental aerobics.  But be warned:  You’re going to really have to work on this one.

This is a fun exercise.  It’s a great way to get your brain in gear, and shake the rust off your vocabulary.  I am going to give you some strange letter sequences and ask you for a word it is found in.  For instance, “EQU.”  That seems unusual, but you just saw it in sequence.  How about “DKA?”  Well you’d find that in vodka.  Got it?  Good!

So here are 15 uncommon letter sequences.  Can you find at least one English word that contains each of these letter sequences?  Hell, since so many of you are from other countries, it doesn’t have to be English really.  I just know that there are English words that contain these sequences.  If you know a word in another language that works too.  Let’s see how many you can get.

Give it your best shot before you scroll down to the comments and see the answers from other people.  I’ll give you my answers on the next post.

Oxygen was the only one I could answer.I have three questions to you I hope you can answer even if this is not the right place to answer them-I know but I am very courious:
1.Are you married and have children?
2.What do you mean with fundamentalist agnostic?
3.What kind of pedagogic do you think children shall have to really enjoy the school and grow up in a good way?
If you answer all 3, I´ll be VERY happy
If you don´t answer all three I´ll be VERY sad
    THANK YOU
