Do You Notice Your Lack Programming?

Posted By: Randy GageJune 3, 2010

We’ve talked a lot in the past about the lack and limitation programming you get from TV, radio, movies and other media.  So have you been watching and being aware of that?

Well a good test would be what you noticed when you went to the movie Avatar.  Did you catch all the subliminal messages in there that were programming your subconscious mind?

I just posted my new review of the movie on my YouTube channel. Watch the video and then please share your thoughts there or back here.  (Be sure and subscribe there so you’ll know when new videos come out.  I promise to do them more often.)

Find the video here.

  1. Watched the video..I must say when I actually saw the movie, all of the memes jumped out at me...the rich evil businessman playing golf in the office, intent on getting the unobtanium at whatever cost...
And don't get me started on when they set fire to the navi's forest home, and people began crying and dying. Subliminal message...rich people don't care about whoever gets in their way...they can kill for anything.
It was a nice movie cus I like sci fi..but the memes were still there..

  2. Hi Randy,
thanx for all your posts, they always make me think and analyse my "reality map".
But I'm offtopic for now: do you have any plans on visiting Russia any time soon?
In case you do, please be sure to concider me as your translator, coz I'm pretty sure I'm one of the best there is.
    Thanx in advance.
    Sincerely,
    Ilya

  3. Randy,

Well ur good. But what if you had a chance to rewrite the script of Avatar. What would u do? Ud make the Navi ppl negotiate?

Rich ppl are ok. Im rich. So its good.

The only thing is that rich ppl consume more environmentally. Whats yr take on that?

  4. Randy:
I grew up in a wealthy family. My experience dealing with the upper class was suffocating to me.
History tell us that humans exploit other humans. Just look at our own history with slavery and women not been allowed to own property in the 17th century,go to college in 18th century, and not been able to vote in the 19th century.
Cameron has become a multi-millionarie with "limiting memes". My experience is that money alone will not make happy-- that's an inner realization.
Money will make you comfortable and has nothing with happiness.
I can see your point on how society makes believe that suffering leads to higher spiritual realization.

  5. Since I've heard your analysis of Titanic in 2004 I'm always watching (trying to) out for memes in movies, I haven't seen Titanic but I wanted to see Avatar and I'm glad I did. Even though I pointed out in my review the negative and destructive picture given to money and that the villain is the image of dominating power and money although it would be simple to convey the message that it is seeking money for money that destroyed much on its way, whereas when the money is seen as a means, not an end, it can totally be used positively. As they say if the money is a terrible master, it is an excellent servant… anyway that put aside, it shows for once a pantheistic view and Avatar puts his finger on the patriarchal model in which we live (except for rare exceptions) face to face with a culture much more matriarchal and definitely focused around the relationship with the nature and the planet (The place itself is called Pandora as the Greek Goddess!). It’s also about people who understand that as a species, we do not stand apart from nature, but are part of it. It was nice that a big movie shares a part of that philosophy.
But okay I agree with the negative programing and sadly I noticed that many people were taken by the movie because of that negative programing, like a "proof" that rich = evil.
    Thanks for sharing!

  6. Wow, thanks Randy for pointing this out so everyone can check themselves on these thoughts.......I did catch most of this meme stuff overall on both movies, but it went in one ear and out the other.....I'd like to think because I'm beyong that thinking----worked very hard to get beyond my rich person bad/poor person good attitudes.....all people are good and all people are bad, there is no class distinction in the overall design of the Universe......

    Blessings to you

  7. Randy. I agree, every minute somebody is programing you or you are programing somebody to do something, we all part of the universal matrix, my life is a universal program with a preselected purpose,NOW the key is that we all have freewill to transform and modify that program by experience, so we get to be careful what we are accepting into our harddisk.

  8. Hey Randy,
It really is crazy the crap that we put into our minds on a daily basis. Since reading you books many years ago I have cut out all TV, radio, newspapers and most movies. What a difference in mindset I have since then.

You talk about Avatar being lack, but it is nothing compared to the lack in pinocchio and other children's movies. I just watched it last night to see what my first paradigms were and no wonder we struggle with money issues. When you see the people who go after money in that movie you would never want to go after it.

The worst thing about it is that the most lack messages are always packaged so beautifully that we think awww just a little happy disney movie, and then set our kids down in front of them for hours every day.

Same as all the junk food, the nasty ingredients would never be fed to a child unless they were made to look like a little princess. Could you imagine taking the raw ingredients and feeding them to children? Their parents would have you locked up for child abuse, but make them pink and give them a song and it is a wonderful treat.

  9. Hi Randy,

Thanks for this excellent post. It opened my mind to see things in a different light. It is great to be more conscious about what you are feeding your mind in everything you do. I appreciate all that you do for us.

    Make it a great day!
    God Bless,
    -ed

  10. Hey Randy Gage.
In those two movies we fill that the humen being is helpless against
the omnipotence of the nature, no matter how much mony he has.
    Like the saing,
"Man plant und Gott lacht es design"
All the ficion movies and stories, like Avatar, has a grain of reality.

  11. -RG,

Nice-I was hopping that I was not the only one noticing theses things in movies and such.

One point that I notice in theses types on movies like Avatar is that the villain is not only rich but always a white male. The good people are people of color and or women. I know bad and evil comes in all colors and both sexes yet the white guy is taking the blunt of the blame, and is the only segment of the population left that it is OK to portray in in a negative way.

Sorry I was getting off on a bit of a rant.

I have a question for you.

In network marketing we are taught to be positive and present our product and joining our company to make other's life better.

If theses negative messages are so powerful and "sticky" should we use them tho "sell/promote" our services or products?

    -djm

  12. Hi Randy,

I appreciate the way you consistently challenge me to analyze my own thought process and how I think of prosperity. I watched your video analysis of the lack programming in the movie Avatar, and understand the mind viruses you pointed out in that film. However, I think your analysis of Avatar should also point out the over-arching theme of scarcity and the blatant violations to the rights of others (that are anti-prosperity). The humans in the film were on Pandora in search of 'unobtanium', yet their desire to mine and extract this mineral set them on an imperialistic path. It seemed like the humans were so obsessed with extracting this mineral from this one location at all cost, as if there was a scarce supply of this mineral, or any energy source, in the universe (or at least Alpha Centauri). I think this scarcity mindset allowed them to then "circumvent the universal laws that govern prosperity", by initiating war on the Navi people. In your blog The Logic Behind Your Beliefs you noted "prosperity is always about allowing others to express their rights, as long as those rights don’t impinge upon yours." If we are to maintain a congruent philosophy on prosperity, shouldn't we also point out the lack programming in the film projected by the humans?

  13. I would love to read or hear Randys thing about Titanic.
Have to recheck Avatar on DVD to get the point we are disquis.
Good subject - Movie and Opera digger Alf

  14. If Cameron also suffers from this mind virus as you put it then why is he so Rich and his movies do so well commercially?
I mean Avatar is the biggest grossing film ever.

Doesn't really make sense does it?

Here you have a Rich guy promoting povery?

  15. Hey Randy you have surpassed yourself with cynical interpretations of Avatar and I am sure you are aware cynicism can be the most destructive of tools, both to self and others.

Without judgement allow me to give you an illustration of how everything that you put down in Titanic and Avatar as lack programming can and does exist in real life. Nothing to do with programming or money or wealth being good or bad, just what is so.

I live in Dubai, a city which by encouraging and promoting exponential unsustainable financial growth and alleged prosperity has bankrupted itself to the tune of approximately $ 84,000,000. One company, Nakheel, who built the Palme, managed to destroy much of the marine environment around the Palme; to the extent that even sponges cannot live there due to total disregard and respect shown by the company to that environment. All of this done to sell off plan and then again many times before even being built, overpriced villas to the wealthy.

The level of corruption that has taken place at the highest levels of corporate management in the city has to be witnessed to be believed. One example the former head of the Dubai International Financial Centre, Dr Omar bin Sulaiman, is in custody for allegedly embezzling Dh50 million (US$14m) in public funds disguised as “performance bonuses”. This is not unique there are many cases of high level as well as low level corruption in this part of the world. Unique to Dubai? Of course not but present there none the less.

How does it all come to be? The flow of large sums of money can and does attract those looking to obtain money for themselves at any cost. From the exploitation of Indian and Bangladeshi workers who have built Dubai, to the appallingly paid Filipino workers, maids Dubai demonstrates brilliantly all that you attribute to lack programming. Is everyone who is wealthy in Dubai evil? Of course not. Has Dubai achieved amazing and incredible things? Absolutely. Has Dubai been crippled by greed on a foundation of humanitarian lack? Definitely.

Yes Randy, of course there is a wealth of lack programming in Dubai as everywhere; but take care to avoid delusion and denial. There is equally as much lack in the wealthy as the poor.

And just for interest two days ago I returned from a two week assignment in Jordan, an Arab country without the benefits of wealth generated by oil, where, unlike Dubai, the locals do work. You will see many Jordanians driving taxis in Jordan unlike the UAE where you will never find an Emirati taxi driver. And do you know my biggest shock spending time in this country? The kindness, hospitality and generosity of heart, apparently so hard to find in Dubai, where the majority of locals and expats have congregated for money, myself included. Is this just coincidence? I struggle to accept such an explanation as a spiritual being who does not buy into that concept.

Does all of this sound like more lack programming? Maybe it could be interpreted as so by the very cynical, the simple truth however is the all the above is the simple truth.

  16. Avatar...avatar..avatar...it is good to run in the forest ass-naked together with your ass-naked girl-friend somewhere in Florida, US - sniff the flowers, catch them butterflies and hunt the mosquitoes around...but I live in Russia - the dull cold country where you got snow 6 month a year...what's gonna happen if I will start walking feet-naked - around the St. Petersburg with a bow behind my back and start shooting them rich cars with arrows shouting...nonsense...Avatar brain-washed....the idiot....
Randy, if you catch Turuk next time - send it over to St. Petersburg - he will save me petrol and gas expenses. Turuk

I shall admit it is pictureqsque and inspiring...but I would like to repeat...I got an inner inch to run ass-naked with my girl-friend IN FLORIDA...It is good -nothing evil in this....But I got snow and joined Trump university because I can not run ass-naked. Period.

Randy, thanks for keeping reminding me of your existence.
You are - a reproach to my lazy ass.

  17. Randy, I am afraid - you did not get the message of Cameron - it is the same as in George Orwell's "1984" - the danger has come when they started to destroy the past of the people - their memory - just like the Bolsheviks did in 1917 in Russia when they started to build new world destroying the OLD. They destroyed the memory of the people. There is nothing wrong with earning the money - do not destroy the memory....He who controls the past - controls the present - in this aspect Cameron is genius....genius...
But ...when coming to momey problem - he is like a kid - just like the present president of Russia - who shouted around - the people are GREEDY, HIGH Profit is BAD...the discovery of America in Russia - yes, Mr, President, to your surprise we are selfish, we like beautiful things, we want the money and desirably not to see you and your commy on the Russian SovdepTV - to waste our time.

You're right Randy...but Cameron is also right when he is stressing the IMPORTANCE Of KEEPING THE MEMORY ....otherwise you will get TOTALITARIAN RUSSIA - without memory...period ...nothing to say any more.

  18. Hey Randy,
I loved your analysis of Avatar, and I think you were spot on..I read your book years ago, and I still pick it up from time to time to give myself reminders. I must say however, that it IS difficult at times not to have the mentality that "rich is evil" when all the media has done in the last few years is show us evil rich people!!! You know, the Bernie Madoffs, the Enrons, now the "evil" BP who has nothing substatial to stop the flow of oil in the Gulf, and is responsible for what could be the greatest environmental disaster the world will ever face!! The media has bombarded us with the ideal that the country is not run "by the people", but by big corporations, and their lobbyists, special interests, and fundaMENTAList groups. Going back to the recent Gulf disaster, the media has even suggested that the Obama administration is involved in a coverup of the severity of the disaster, pandering to BP !!!
I guess what I'm trying to say is that with all the media coverage of these "evil" rich people and corporations, it's hard NOT to have the "rich people are evil" mentality. How do you get past this ?? I'd respectfully request the you do a video covering this subject, how to avoid or get past the constant media bombardment. The thing is, is the media wrong??? All these people they've covered ARE greedy bastards. Maybe not "evil" , but greedy enough to screw other people and seriously hurt Mother Earth
    Thanks for letting ME rant

  19. Now Iron Man, that's the movie, be RICH and a hero at the same time.....Tony Stark was arrogant at first then he learned a lesson that life is not all about him and he becomes a hero, who by the way is loaded! Goes to show that not all rich people are bad people like James Cameron puts the rich out to be. Maybe he needs to look in the mirror....

  20. Randy,

Another hot topic! My interest in life is in a world that works for everyone with no one left out. The distinction most people fail to make is there is a ‘what happened’ [the ‘what’s so’ and its flip side ‘so what?’] and their story about it. People love their story and believe their story IS the truth. If you were to interview a half dozen people who just watched a train wreck or a multi-car accident you would get six different stories each one claiming their ‘truth’ about what happened. Their truth is not what happened which is why all six stories, all six billion stories are different. The truth is seldom simple but always permanent.

I have spent a lot of time managing my input. There are systems that suggest bad and good thoughts occur and you have to allow one set in and keep the other set out or spend time filling yourself with ‘good’ and positive thoughts to overcome the standard world negative programming. [Who decides, judges in this up/down, right/wrong, left/right, good/bad paradigm?] Much of what is sold as spiritual hocus pocus is in this sphere. I am not saying anything negative or positive in regards to the paradigm.

Imagine for a moment yourself as a large, clear, crystal bowl filled with spaghetti. The spaghetti is a mixture of every kind of pasta you can imagine. Hard durum, whole wheat, spinach, corn, etc and every color from intense white to the blackest black fills this beautiful bowl. Each strand of spaghetti represents a truth, a belief, a story, some aspect of life as it continues to occur for each bowl. We ‘feed’ off this flow and for many the desire for their favorite ‘taste’ tends to make some noodles be ‘good’ and the rest ‘bad.’ Some of us pull out, one noodle at a time, the bad while only allowing the good to remain and come in. I am a big fan of artichoke pasta myself and …. The tendency to hang out with other bowls of the same colored pasta and flavor is the history of this planet.

I am interested in being an empty clear crystal bowl.

  21. RG,

I had some reason that I have never watched the movie "The Titanic" and I admit I enjoyed Avatar. I tend to like action movies. I think Warren Buffett is one of the smartest, down to earth businessman I can think of. I think he tells it like it is. I do think many of the CEO's I see on TV today seem to have no respect or care for their fellow employees. They are no Warren Buffett.
It is not because they are rich, it is because they have no responsiblity for their position.

I do agree we get programmed from TV and the movies. It is those subliminal messages that stay in my subconscious that I am constantly fighting.

THanks for your positive messages that help over come my negative feelings that crop up from time to time

    Jim

  22. Has anyone here read Confessions of an Economic Hitman or The Secret History of the American Empire?

I've read the latter and they are both by the same author.

Startling reads to say the least.

Now, I like to think I have a very strong Prosperity Mindset, but those books definitely flood you with guilt.

If you've read one of them you know what I mean.

  23. More importantly it suggests human beings are a bad race destroying everything in its way.

It is also imprinting for coming New World Religion rituals and a time when people will be transported as slaves also to other planets.

Few people understand they are already slaves on this planet.

Cameron is a high ranking freemason making movies for the Illuminati. I heard that on the 32nd degree of freemasonry you "learn" that Satan is God. Now of course Satan only has the power God gives it.

And remember not least the end. It's called transfer of a soul personality into a new body. Happens every day. They project a fake but intriguing white light in the astral, which is a trap.

Upon passing, go to violet, silver or gold, never white.

  24. "Did you catch all the subliminal messages in there that were programming your subconscious mind?"

I saw the movie at the theater but have not seen it recently. I think that there are a lot of messages both good & bad.

    Warning...if you haven't noticed....I like quotes 🙂

"When my heart was never open (and my spirit never free), To the world that you have shown me but my eyes could not envision, All the colors of love and of life evermore." Leona Lewis song "I See You" from the movie "Avatar".

I am thinking Pandora is a very abundant planet just like ours... and not everyone sees the abundance. Not everyone is grateful for what they have...including me... that is something I am working on everyday.

I saw the some of the memes that Randy mentions in “Why You’re Dumb, Sick & Broke…And How to Get Smart, Healthy & Rich!”

    and others...

Humans destroying the rain forests & other cultures: Jake Sully: [as Jake pleads for Eywa's help in attacking the "Sky People"] See the world we come from: there's no green there. They've killed their mother, and they're going to do the same thing here.

People wearing masks: Col. Quaritch: Mask on!

Diplomacy: Col. Quaritch: It seems diplomacy has failed.

Ego: Moat: It is hard to fill a cup that is already full.

Health Care, Military pay...and more if I keep thinking about it.

I have heard of other negative things about the movie such as it is a pagan movie. This could just be someone’s interpretation and other people may have their own interpretation.

But I think there are good messages too (more examples):

Learning: Mohat: Do as we do, and learn it well. Then we will see if your insanity can be cured

Leadership: Neytiri: Toruk Makto was mighty. He brought the clans together in a time of great sorrow. All Navi people know this story.

Tsu'tey: Toruk Makto, I will fly with you.

    Connecting:
Jake: It's hard to put in words the deep connection the People have to the forest. They see a network of energy that flows through all living things. They know that all energy is only borrowed... And one day you have to give it back.

    The power of self-talk:
Jake Sully: I told myself I can pass any test a man can pass.

    Love:
Jake Sully: "Look, at first it was just orders. And then, everything changed. Okay, I fell in love. I fell in love with the, with the forest, with the Omaticaya people, with you. With you."

    God (they call God “Eywa”):
Neytiri: Eywa has heard you... Eywa has heard you!

Know, like & trust (but for the right reasons):
Col. Quaritch: Look, Sully, I want you to learn this savages from the inside, I want you to gain their trust. I need to know how to force their cooperation or hammer them hard if they won't...

Jake Sully: Outcast. Betrayer. Alien. I was in the place the eye does not see. I needed their help. And they needed mine. But to ever face them again, I was going to have to take it to a whole new level.

    Not being a victim:
Jake Sully: They've sent us a message... that they can take whatever they want. Well we will send them a message. That this... this is our land!

    Dreams becoming reality:
Jake Sully: Well, uh, I guess this is my last video log. Whatever happens tonight, either way, I'm not going to be coming back to this place. Well, I guess I better go. I don't wanna be late for my own party. It's my birthday, after all. This is Jake Sully signing off.

Messages…becoming aware of them…what we choose to see.

  25. Re comment by Jim...Yes Ive read Confessions of an Economic
Hit Man and most of as Old as Empire.....his latest book is
titled "Hoodwinked"....a book that offers his latest efforts
to give us a solution....while I agree with most of what he
    writes...it seems like a pipe dream....Utopia on earth...and I
support it, but I believe as the Bible says. mankind is inherently
sinful, you know . the angel on one shoulder saying don't do it.
and the devil on the other saying go ahead, you want to, it's
okay! and you know what a lot of us choose in spite of ourselves. A great majority are "Hoodwinked" !!!
Still we should try and live by the Golden rule.....and yes
great service and products deserve reward.....but as you
are aware, half the world is living on very little, a small
few are exploiting the masses, monetarily and politically
These books are well worth the read and I recommend them
and hope they influence many for the good. Money gives us
the means to help mankind if earned and used wisely, but
the love of money is about power and power corrupts...
I like Randy's take on a lot of things he says....

  26. No that's like using that manipulative NLP bullshit that Tony Robbins teaches to sell people stuff they don't want to buy. There's no integrity in that.

    -RG

  27. He made $200 million on Titanic, teaching you it is spiritual to be poor. And will fare far better on this latest movie. He has found a script formula that taps into the most popular memes (just as John Grisham, network TV shows and many other media outlets have) which is a recipe for mass acceptance from the herd.

    -RG

  28. Please don't confuse critical thinking with cynicism. And just because the memes in the movies often play out in real life doesn't make them any less dangerous. Probably more so.

    -RG

  29. I get past that by never reading newspapers or watching the news. And analyzing everything I allow into my world, just as I did with this movie. I loved watching The Sopranos when it was on, because I believe it was the most brilliantly written and acted show on TV. But I was always careful to counter-program against the many negative influences in there.

    -RG

    1. that would be great. Despite that movie is more positive than others I've found some negative programming there too.

  30. Randy, this is a great piece of work. Thanks so much for producing the video and it's content.
I have not been to Avatar. I read somewhere something of the story and my anti-lack-programming defense shield went up. Several of my close family and friends have been. I asked them about the story and without exception they loved it and have no concept of the memes to which they were subjected.
Other enlightened people have said that one cannot go these movies and actually resist the negatives. You would need to be a very advanced "soul" to resist, so the majority of us have little or no defence. Even being aware is no defence. That's the reason I won't go to this movie.
Once again, I really appreciate your analysis and willingness to share your thoughts on this. Perhaps this is an even greater war to be fighting than say, Afghanistan or the so-called Drug Wars.
    Thankyou.
    David Payne

  31. As far as the media goes, I cancelled my TV service one month ago and am not interested in hearing any news. Neither of these serve me. There is not much media out there that teaches good or productive things. Although education was supposed to give you the tools to succeed in this world, it doesn't. I have no interest in seeing avatar or any other modern film. The only way you learn to be successful and propsperous is from other successful and prosperous people. That's the only media influence I am interested in right now. And yes, the media is full of messages that say rich people are bad and exploit others. I have yet to see media that shows someone becoming wealthly by poviding value to others and made an enteprise from helping solve problems.

  32. Hey Randy, love your stuff!! How do you feel about all the mindless, soulless, obnoxious consumerism in the Sex and the City movies?? I loathe it!!

PS - why don't you like House? I thought an iconoclast like yourself would dig a fellow maverick like House?

  33. I didn't go to the Sex & The City movies. I saw the series once or twice and it looked stupid to me. I love the acting in House, especially Hugh Laurie. It's rare to see that kind of a complex character on TV. Just don't find time to watch it anymore.

I mention it only because when it became a breakout hit, the subplot was the billionaire guy who was trying to take over the hospital board. He wanted to cut costs to increase profits, even it that meant more patients would die. Wanted to test his drugs on unsuspecting people, even if they died, etc. Insidious lack programming with the usual memes, money is bad, rich people are evil, and poor people are good.

    -RG

  34. What makes you think I am confusing critical thinking with cynicism?

I challenge you to consider how many of your responses to what you witness are automated as a result of your own self programming.

Lack programming can come in many forms. I have followed Randy Gage for many years and right now find myself asking is Randy challenging himself as much as he should or could or is he resting on the laurels of past performance.

    Best,

    Paul

  35. Randy, I agree and recognize how these subliminal messages are easily imprinted in the minds of the masses. We are constantly bombarded with the concept of the rich vs. the poor. This poverty 'stinking thinking' programing starts from the time we are youngsters (cartoons), and throughout our adulthood.

Therefore, we must be vigilant as to how we process these messages. Unfortunately, the movie industry is no exception. They have to put asses in the seat, and fortunately they make lots of profits!!! Thanks Randy.

Beware and have FUN at the Movies ~Leslie
P.S. For example two sides to a story (Good vs. Bad) Check this video out -- Flotilla Choir presents: We Con the World http://youtu.be/FOGG_osOoVg

  36. Hmmm, really difficult for me this one, I do have the utmost respect for you, however I thought Avatar was the best film I've seen since the matrix, if not better! So....I had to stop and think which is something I'm not accustomed to doing and when I have to and more importantly when I have to explain, I get frustrated slightly as I'm a feeling person not a thinking person lol ok so when I saw Avatar I wanted to be a blue person and live in a tree but I wander if that was more to do with the fact that I am a hopeless romantic? You challenged my thinking which is good and bad at the same time so where do I go from here? I want to be rich yet at the same time I want to respect my values which I agree that the film industry would have us believe that they are two seperate things. Are they? I don't know. I know when I was making £100k per year I was ruthless, hard working and did whatever it took to suceed and now that I am on benefits and a single mum I'm a nicer persone but boy do I miss the lifestyle. HELP!!!

  37. Hi Randy!
I have noticed the subliminal message in Avatar and other films. But whats your take on "Annie"?

I studied biology at the university and I can tell you that most of the environmental groups has the same take on thing; rich people pollute and destroy our world.
My take on it? The worst damage is beeing done because people havn´t got the money to be choosy. Rich people have the money to choose a better way, and hopefully does. I have had the belief that money corrupt people and that was not the way to go. Now I know better. I need to get prosper to be able to help others!

Thanks for showing us this! You really should be aware of what you put in your mind. Rich-bad/poor-good is not the only message you get from Tv/movies....

    Love Åsa

  38. Dear Randy, please don't ever diss Superman ( the 1978 version ) or I will be devastated ! The message I got was to help others in need in any which way you are able.

  39. Been a long time since I saw that. Long before I was thinking about subliminal messages. But I still remember going to that movie. First time in a "rocking chair" theater in Sunny Isles. I'll never forget Christopher Reeves smile and the tagline in the movie promo: "You will believe a man can fly."

    -RG

  40. Thanks for a great post! I did watch Avatar but don't ask me how many times though! LOL I know there are destructrive messages in it, but honestly, what caught my eye was the beauty of environment, the difference in their appearance when standing next to a human, and how they work together energetically. Everything glowed and lit up with every step they took, I love that part. And why didn't they change Sigourney Weaver's nose when she was an Avatar??? LOL Their eyes, you can see everything within those eyes, beautiful. I know this is just a movie loaded with stuff but I choose to see what I wanted to see and it was a beauitiful movie to watch and be entertained. It resonated with me on a deeper level about their energy. Maybe I'll go watch it again! 🙂

  41. I guess I will be the controversial one again. I did not get the same message from Titanic or Avatar that Randy did. I think the meaning we take away from these movies is in direct allignment with our own beliefs. When I watched Titanic, I did not come away with a scarcity mentality. I came away with love concours all. When I watched Avatar, I came away thinking that this movie describes the true essence of life in that we all come from the same source and that source will always control everything even if we think we are capable of changing it. Both movies were very positive to me with the message. Love concours all and there is nothing more valuable. I'm not against prosperity. Love the good life but never think for a moment that life is not totally fulfilling without it.

  42. Yes I do Randy. Thanks to you. I was reading my daughter a book the other day and had to change the wording of the book all because it was programming. Thank you so much Randy. You have truly changed my life more than you realize.

  44. I didn't really catch any of the subliminal messages. I just kind of realized that the movie Avatar had a very similar storyline with Pocahontas lol Great post. Now heading to the video.

  48. You learn who people are by wisdom and grace. I have been taken by the best of them. These days, I am able to differentiate good intentions from bad. Not quite sure how to explain or share it, it's just something you grow into growing yourself. And I would go through all the pain all over again, to come to the place I am now.

      Best,

    46. Great message today. Words have power and we need to be discerning about the messages we buy into.

    48. You learn who people are by wisdom and grace. I have been taken by the best of them. These days, I am able to differentiate good intentions from bad. Not quite sure how to explain or share it, it's just something you grow into growing yourself. And I would go through all the pain all over again, to come to the place I am now.
